We offer both group learning and private support, allowing you to choose the environment that best suits you and your dog. Group Training – Foundation Life Skills Course
Our group training focuses on building calm, confident, real-world skills using modern, force-free, positive reinforcement methods. Our current course, Foundation Life Skills, is open to dogs of all ages, not just puppies. We recognise that dogs join families at many different stages, including through UK and international rescue. This course develops essential life skills in a structured, supportive environment. Once completed, you can continue your progress through either rolling group classes or bespoke one-to-one training sessions.
Private One-to-One Training Sessions
Our private training sessions take place in your own home, allowing us to work directly within your dog’s everyday environment. This option is ideal if you are unable to attend weekly classes, your dog feels uncomfortable in group settings, or you prefer tailored one-to-one guidance. Your first session is longer, allowing time to fully understand your goals, your dog’s behaviour, and your home environment. From there, we create a practical and realistic training plan tailored to your situation.
Common areas of support include:
- Loose lead walking and recall
- Jumping up and visitor manners
- Counter surfing and impulse control
- Separation-related distress
- Preparing for a new puppy or baby
Private Behaviour Support Sessions
For more complex behavioural challenges such as reactivity, fear-based behaviours, or long-standing behavioural patterns, we offer in-depth behaviour support. Before beginning, we ask that your dog is assessed by a veterinary professional to rule out medical causes, and that a veterinary referral is provided for behaviour work. The assessment session lasts up to two hours and includes a full review of your dog’s history, environment, and behaviour.
Following assessment, you will receive:
- Ongoing email support
- A detailed behaviour summary report
- A practical management and support plan
- Tailored handouts
- Access to a private support community
